High-Quality Childcare with ELC Support at the Learning Village
Through our partnership with the Early Learning Coalition (ELC) and the School Readiness Program (SR), we provide high-quality early learning programs that support your child’s growth and development.
What is the ELC Program?
The ELC program helps eligible families in Broward County by providing financial assistance for early childhood education. We proudly accept ELC at the Learning Village, making it easier for families to access exceptional childcare.
Who Qualifies for ELC?
Families who meet specific income and residency requirements qualify for ELC assistance. The parent or guardian must either be:
- Working at least 20 hours per week
- Participating in an educational activity for 20 hours per week
- Temporarily or permanently disabled, as documented by a physician or a Social Security award letter.
How Long Does the Approval Process Take?
The time varies, but we’ll help you complete the process promptly.
What Documents Do I Need?
You’ll typically need proof of income, residency, and household information.
What Age Groups Are Covered?
The Learning Village offers programs for infants through pre-K (ages 0-5) and after-school care for children aged 5-12. Both full-time and part-time options are available to meet the needs of families.
